Our products are produced using these sustainable elements:
Made from a byproduct of the agricultural industry, commonly corn, PLA is biodegradable and is used in our cutlery, cups, punnets, clamshells and lids. PLA uses renewable resources and therefore creates far less greenhouse emissions.
PLA (Polylactic Acid)
Bagasse is a byproduct from the agriculture of sugar cane and is used in our molded fibre products such as food trays, clamshells, bowls and plates. It’s carbon footprint is a fraction of that of Styrofoam’s as it’s plant-based, not oil-based.
Bagasse (Sugar Cane Fibre)
Our paper cups, plates and bowls are produced from wood fibre that is sourced from well-managed forests and elemental chlorine free. Our molded fibre products are made from 100% recycled fibre.
Paper (Wood/Recycled) Pulp
PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and PP (polypropylene) are both recyclable plastics. The right type of composition determines the recyclability, whether injection moulded or thermo-formed.
PET and PP Rigid and Flexible Plastics
Some of our bio-plastics are also made from renewable resources such as plant starch from soy but have no impact on food crop markets as only by-products are used.
Vegetable Starch Compounds
